Best way to communicate with me is by e-mail at this time.
Voice mail 1-212-696-8984 (I am not able to check this often.)
On March 1st 2005 we put in a phone. We can afford to keep it for one month. If We do not find financial help we will have to take out the phone in one month. The cost of the phone is about Fifty Dollars a month. Try this number.
1-740-284-1570 I will spend what is about my last few dollars to pay for this phone. I am praying for help and seeking help. The question is will anyone send the help or be the help. During the month I will try to call many perosns and get them to respond. The best ways people can respond is to pledge To give Three Dollars a month for at least three years. That is a low amount that anyone who wants to help can afford. Send in Nine Dollars now for the last three months and send in Nine Dollars every three months. Put Three Dollars aside each month in an envelope and send it in, use a check or money order. If someone wants to give a grant of about Five Thousand Dollars to fund any of the development of any of the ideas in this and related sites that would solve a lot of problems.
We are a non-profit organization that works to help the homeless and Poor in various ways. Especially, we look for creative ways to help the economy and improve public policy.
We are a valid 501(c) 3 organization and any donations are Tax-exempt.
We are small grass roots organization but we carry a big stick. We do not have a large budget. That is the point of our work. We do not help people in expensive ways but in ways that are effective and we believe practical.
One way we have raised money in the past was to get persons to donate used cars, which we auctioned off or sold.
We own properties in Pa. and Ohio. We have programs to help Persons who are homeless and who have been through live-in programs where they have been helped and monitored for at least a year. They must be drug, tobacco, and alcohol free in order for us to help them. We teach persons we help how to manage their money and how not to become homeless again. We have a program which helps them get work, save their money, and learn to live frugally and buy a home. We target persons who are unlikely to make much more than minimum wage. We have successfully helped persons learn to manage and get by on a little income, yet eventually buy, and own a home. Sometimes, rather than teaching someone how to earn more money it is better to show them how to get by on what they have.
As the overseer, I have done this work over the past thirty years using my own funds and a few donations from those who know me well. I do not like to 'help others' in order to parade my good deeds in front of the world.
I would rather help for the sake of the person helped and for the good of our society, rather than to get accolades for having helped. This makes it harder to get popular support from those who do not know me. Still, there are those who do and will help. In fact investing charity here is a good use of one's resources.
We recently bought a house in Steubenville Ohio, where we hope to continue this service. When we enter a community, we look to identify needs that can be addressed and we then work to address them.
We have identified several problems, which we hope to attack.
- One: Need for more employment in our community.
- Two: Local Fire companies are having a harder time raising money.
- Three: There is a need for more employment with good pay for not so highly experienced individuals.
- Four: Producing good, interesting popular local programming for
small stations is hard to do.
Job Creation:
We have a plan to create a new TV show that will be popular. It will be a locally produced game show. We want to develop and operate it for one year as a model and hopefully when the model shows itself successful re- create it in about fifty other rural TV markets. This may not seem like a non-profit effort. Nevertheless, it will become our fund raising activity from here on forward.
If successful, the program would create about forty local jobs in broadcasting in each market it is produced in. These are permanent full time jobs. Forty jobs per show times fifty individual shows means 2000 jobs. Good jobs. Half of which can be filled by not so highly skilled individuals.
We are looking for a sponsor who would back this project with Two million dollars. That would guarantee our success for one year and allow the program to go on for the full fifty-two weeks even if our attempts at selling advertising are poor. We seek either a corporate sponsor or a donor to back the project, or a foundation that would make a one time funding of this effort.
Without an agreement of confidentiality and non-disclosure, we will not disclose details about the program (show). I will tell you that this program will be successful and will become one of the longest running 'syndicated' programs in the country. However rather than being a program that is taped in Hollywood or NY and is brought to the rest of the country it will be re-produced locally in each market and make lots of good local jobs and actually serve the local communities as TV stations are supposed to do.
Please respond:
Reliable Transportation for Working Poor:
Auto Donation Program:
With in a few years time, with your help now, our charity will be overseeing one of the largest independent automobile donation programs in the United States. We will help Americans by making driving more affordable for the lower middle class family.
How? By using the cars donated to us to provide affordable vehicles
and dependable vehicles to persons who need a first or second car but cannot afford high dealership or used car prices. The person will pay a monthly amount, affordable to them, for the car according to their ability and their circumstances.
We will employ a number of just out of school mechanics to take the many donated cars and make them reliable. We will sell them to individuals for an amount they can afford. Based on an evaluation of their income and their other expenses.
They will drive off with their used car. If any problems? Bring it in and take another car. Then our mechanics will repair that one and we will put it back on the lot.
This way the mechanics can work steady always repairing cars and the drivers can have a reliable vehicle at a price of about half of what they would have to pay at a used car dealer. Why? Because there are many persons who need this extra rung of support in the ladder of life. In addition, because this could be a responsible use of the many donated cars which now are often simply sold for scrap. We believe they can be better used to help improve our economy and make life better for our citizens.
Many cars now donated are scraped by some of the larger Non-profits. We want to recycle those cars to provide affordable driving for the working poor and create some entry-level jobs for new mechanics.
- You can help.
Donate seed money to our Non-profit so we can operate. (Forty thousand dollars)
Housing :
Buy houses and that are in usable condition, though they might need some fixing up. Some TLC and help persons who are on low incomes to buy and own those houses.
There are many persons who live in the NY area and other large city areas who are on SSI and Social Security, or disability. They will get fixed low incomes for the rest of their life. Most of them have their rents subsidized by Section 8 rental housing.
For example:
The rent for someone in a one-bedroom apartment in NY is most likely between nine hundred dollars and eleven hundred dollars in rent. They are paying about one hundred-fifty dollars from their SS or SSI allotment and Section 8 is paying the rest for them each month.
Lets take the lower number. In this case the federal government through the Section 8 Program is paying seven hundred-fifty (750)dollars per month towards that persons rent. 750 dollars times 200,000 families equals one hundred-fifty million (150,000,000) dollars per month. Section 8 waiting lists are long in NY and it can take years to get on it there.
However in the Wheeling, Steubenville, North Ohio Valley area, where we recently bought a house to begin our "re-locate persons" program, a one BR apartment rents for about Three hundred (300) dollars a month. No matter if they are in NY or Ohio the individual will pay the same rent out of their pocket. It is a portion of their income, about one hundred-fifty (150) dollars in most cases. The government (Section 8) pays the rest. Now 200,000 times (150 dollars) is (30,000,000 dollars) a month. If our Non-profit organization can be successful in persuading 200,000 families or individuals to re-locate, by persuading and convincing them to move from NY to the Ohio Valley we can save our Federal government (120,000,000 dollars) a month or over a million dollars a year. The families or individuals moved would find a better quality of life. The Ohio valley would benefit well from the 200,000 extra family units buying milk and cheese, paying rents, and watching TV. They are going to pay the same out of their allotments but the section 8 will save a billion dollars a year. The waiting list in Wheeling for section 8 is about three months last time I checked. We believe it would be good for our country and our community to try to bring this idea about.
What our Non-profit organization plans to do is target in a non-discriminatory way, (with equal opportunity) families and individuals to be sure we move responsible decent persons who are going to improve the Quality of life in the valley and not degrade it. We will not relocate drug addicts or persons accustomed to criminal activity. We will relocate those we find able and willing to participate in the community and help to enrich life there.
This is a worthwhile project. To do it will cost money. We estimate about (80,000 to 150,000 dollars) to get it started. This is to cover staff, advertising, and provide for transportation temporary housing for those we relocate. Once started, this project should perpetuate itself. If someone wanted to provide some money at interest for purchasing empty houses to use in this cause, we could find facility to make good use of those funds. There are many such properties in Steubenville and surrounding areas, which could be used in this endeavor.
Understand that this is a win, win situation.
The reason there are homeless persons in the US is because rents are too high and costs of houses are too high. We, as a little unimportant humble organization would like to help a few persons. We want to help the community and we want to serve our nation. I am an Eagle Scout. I am a believer in Christ. Both of these endeavors motivate me to want to do something practical and effective to lessen suffering. I have worked with and for the homeless and poor for thirty years. I live on a few thousand dollars a year. I often look homeless myself. I sometimes smell homeless because I go to the streets of NY and try to befriend homeless souls and get some homeless off the streets in to shelters.
About Twenty years ago, I learned to my dismay that sometimes the system that helps the poor simply sends them through a revolving door that is more designed to maintain the support system that to make sure persons who are helped are helped effectively. I found out about twenty-five years ago that persons I had helped fifteen years before were back out on the street. In other words, how I had been told, shown, and allowed to help them when working with or for some large nationally known and supported charities did not work. The large charity was blind to the fact. The infrastructure to help was a revolving door. It was there more to perpetuate and keep its employees employed rather than to create lasting solutions. In addition, I determined that if I were going to live in poverty to help my fellow human being, I wanted to see some real progress. I wanted what I did to count and to make a difference in the life of someone who was suffering. I didn't want to do it to make myself feel good yet not really be doing anything worthwhile.
We want to see persons who are homeless never be homeless again. So we have undertaken this effort.
It is very impossible for me to get much financial help. It seems that no one in NY will help a non-profit that helps homeless persons in Pa. and Ohio. In Ohio and Pa. they are afraid of someone who is bringing 'Homeless' from NY to their communities. The fact that we are very careful whom we bring and certify to ourselves first that they are ready to live decently and in order and that they are moving there to buy and own their own home and to be a beneficial member of their new community is hard to effectively share with those we are trying to get to help us. especially in the short time you can get their attention. My work and this ministry needs be supported by those who are not going to look at the outside and judge but rather be supported by someone willing to take a little interest in the ideas and support them till they are fruitful.
TV program :
I will not discuss this (TV Show) without an agreement of confidentiality and non-disclosure. Once I explain the idea, no one needs us or me anymore. A big outfit like yours could take the idea and run. I need for once in my life to take care of myself. Creating and setting up this program is something God may have called me to do.
Perhaps God has been developing you so that you could help me in this work.
Certainly if I were rich I would not need you. However, you have the resources to fund this project and I do not.
We would hire a sales staff and sell advertising. This show is going to be the most popular program on TV in its market, if we find the right time to air it. It will be affordable advertising from the local business, because we intend to get several national sponsors who will pay for everything and then the local ads may be sold below cost so the local businesses can have affordable access to the airwaves to promote their services and wares. This show will be produced in a different small town within the footprint of the stations it airs on. Each week the show will be produced on location in a different local town or village. Each show will generate about 10,000 dollars for the local volunteer fire department. Each show will allow local talent to perform. Viewers will get prizes for watching. It will be a popular game show. There will be regional advertisers and local advertisers. Those persons who watch the show will visit or interact with the advertisers frequently. Thus, there will be foot traffic to show the popularity of this show. The shows will generate revenues far in excess of their cost to produce.
We are a non-profit organization. We want to set up and operate this program in the Ohio Valley area. We need Two million dollars to set up and create a years worth of programming. Once the show is a hit smash, we will be able to raise advertising revenue through sales. However, it is like 'chicken little' no one wants to buy until it is a hit. Well it will never be a hit until we start making it.
It is hoped we can get your interest and that you will back the creation of the show. With me as the producer and owner of the show with creative control. With my non-profit organization getting during the first year any proceeds above the 2,000,000 dollars you would put up to produce the show. The two million would be provided to us with at least 300,000 dollars at start and 20,000 dollars a week for 15 weeks. We will work it all out once you agree to a non-disclosure agreement. Everything would be set up in advance so it is clear what we intend to do and how we intend to do it. We must be sure that there is no dishonesty or corruption involved. All money would be placed in escrow and be spent as costs arise. However, the amounts needed to produce this show effectively are far above my ability. Someone far richer than me must do it. With our success, your two million dollars would be returned.
I am a very frugal person. I like to take one dollar and make ten dollars or fifty dollars of value out of it. That is how I have been able to live on about four thousand dollars a year now for many years and not be homeless. I had never been homeless until three years ago when the Government, through eminent domain, took the apartment I had lived in for decades in for Urban Renewal. The agency that was supposed to move me dragged its feet and the demolition of the old place was done before a new apartment was found for me. Understand, I am a cleric and my first love is charity. However, I believe in being a profitable servant to my God and for my fellow being.
You are the top dogs, in your organization. You are important. I am the top dog here. However, I am unimportant. I am a small potato. Together we can start something new that is as old as the hills. If I cannot reach through to you or if I've been wrong in supposing that you would appreciate the value being offered here and in believing you might be open to helping then I will look elsewhere. These worthwhile things must be done.
Of course, with your co-operation, we can use many of your financial resources.
For years, we worked in the Harrisburg, PA. Now we have expanded to the Steubenville area. The Lord picked this house in Ohio for us (our small non-profit agency ) but we know that he works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform. Therefore, I have much hope that he will move your hearts and minds and cause you to recognize some value in who I am and what we are doing. I boldly, but humbly request your help and assistance. Either fund our work as a charitable act. On the other hand, agree to work with me to produce the TV show on some other basis. If you are not willing or able then let me know. He will open other doors for us.

Send me a valid non-disclosure agreement where you promise not to use my idea or discuss it with anyone else for six years from the date we start and then I will be comfortable to share with you what this is all about. This way if you chose to think my idea is not good, you cannot damage my idea and attempts to bring it about in other ways. The point is this. I need, or want the 2,000,000-dollar backing because I will not start unless I am sure I can finish and that means being able to produce fifty-two shows with or without full advertising sponsorship. Of course, you do not have to put up the money to discuss the idea, just guarantee me in writing that you will not discuss the ideas with others or compete with me for six years from when we start our discussion. If you are not interested then I will try others. I cannot fathom why you would not want to know more about it.
Am I perfectly clear?
